Rocky Mountain Semester

The Rocky Mountain Semester (RMS) is a unique opportunity for juniors and some seniors in high school to spend a semester living, traveling, and studying in the mountains of central Colorado and the canyons of southeastern Utah. In essence, the RMS combines some of the best qualities of an academic program at a rigorous boarding school with the adventure of a summer backpacking expedition.

Applications to the Rocky Mountain Semester for Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 were due on March 1, 2008. We will continue to accept applications after this date, though we cannot guarantee that we will have openings. If you are interested in applying, please contact Danny O'Brien, Director of Admissions, at 719-486-8200 x109 or email dobrien@hminet.org. Thank you for your interest!
