The High Mountain Institute has proudly offered professional development courses for outdoor educators and a multisport adventure program for 7th & 8th graders for nearly a decade.

The High Peaks Adventure is a multi-sport introductory program to the outdoors for students who have completed either 7th or 8th grade. Come experience an 8-day backpacking trip in Colorado's Rocky Mountains, a day of mountain biking in Vail, a day of rock climbing, and a day of rafting on Colorado's celebrated Arkansas River!

Our Adult Programs are designed for outdoor educators interested in furthering their careers. Consider taking a professional development course at the High Mountain Institute.
