From the Program Director

Looking for a teaching experience with a twist? The High Mountain Institute's Apprentice Program offers the unique opportunity to explore teaching beyond the four walls of our classrooms. You will also teach in the backcountry, an aspen grove, our kitchen, the cabins and on the playing field. Twice a week we will meet to discuss theories of education that can be directly applied to your experience. We have partnered with Prescott College, allowing us to offer graduate credit to apprentices.
