From the Program Director

Looking for a teaching experience with a twist? HMI's Rocky Mountain Semester Apprentice Program offers the unique opportunity to explore teaching beyond the four walls of our classrooms. You will also teach in the backcountry, an aspen grove, our kitchen, the cabins, the playing field (or more recently the Quiddich Pitch). Twice a week we will meet to discuss theories of education that can be directly applied to your experience. If you are ready to be a part of a community that values knowledge, personal growth and challenge, then consider applying for the Apprentice Program today.

"HMI shaped my life more that I had time to reflect upon while I was there. In the moments, I knew it changed me, I knew it challenged me and made me a better person, but now I see how this experience will influence who I am, who I grow to be, and how I continue to live my life." - Former Apprentice
