When are applications due?

Applications for both fall and spring semesters are due by March 1. After March 1, we will accept applications on a rolling admissions basis to fill any remaining places.

What do I need to include?

A complete application will include the following:

  • Application for admission
  • Three personal essays
  • A copy of an essay written for your English or History class (It should be graded with comments.)
  • A copy of your transcript
  • 2 sealed advisor/teacher recommendations
  • A recent photograph of you
  • Application fee of $30, payable to the High Mountain Institute (non-refundable)

When will I hear if I am accepted?

Acceptance letters are mailed during the first week of April. Enrollment agreements are due back to the Rocky Mountain Semester by May 1 for both fall and spring semesters.
