Tuition & Expenses
The semester Angelica spent at the HMI Semester made her confident, adventurous, and empowered to get the most out of her college experience. The school was really a turning point in Angelicas life. - Beth, alumna parent; Los Angeles, California
Tuition, room, and board for either Fall 2012 or Spring 2013 is $24,750. Students are asked to pay a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 upon acceptance and return of the Enrollment Agreement Form. This deposit is applied to the cost of tuition. Students from non-member independent schools should check with their schools to be certain that tuition will be pro-rated.
Students are required to provide their own transportation to and from campus. Books, school supplies, and personal outdoor clothing and equipment are additional costs. We ask students to set up a student account with us to cover these expenses. The initial deposit should be $1,100 for the fall semester and $1,500 for the spring semester. At the end of the semester, an itemized bill and refund of leftover money will be sent home. Group camping equipment such as stoves and tents are provided by HMI. Upon acceptance, the student will receive a list of required clothing and equipment. We also provide suggestions for inexpensive purchase of quality gear from retailers around the country, and rental here at HMI.
Financial Aid is available for the HMI Semester. Learn more
