WFR Re-Certification Course
The High Mountain Institute and Wilderness Medicine Institute (WMI) of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) are co-sponsors of this course. Are your wilderness medicine protocols on the tip of your tongue or in the bottom of your pack? This three day scenario-based course is designed as review and practice of evacuation and decision making guidelines. It also provides wilderness medicine practitioners with current updates in the wilderness medicine field. This course may be used to recertify Wilderness First Responder, Wilderness Advanced First Aid, and Wilderness EMT (wilderness portion only) certifications. Questions regarding re-certification should be directed to the WMI office at 1-866-831-9001 or see their web site at www.nols.edu/wmi/ for more information.
