Level 1 Avalanche Course
This Level I Avalanche Certification Course is an intensive course designed for backcountry travelers who want to develop a solid base of avalanche knowledge. The course includes an in depth review and study of terrain, weather, snowpack, and human factors as they relate to travel in avalanche terrain. The course will include several terrain tours to look at avalanche terrain and review the local snowpack.
