Level 3 Avalanche Course
The highest level of avalanche training in the U.S., the Level 3 course is designed for experienced and professional avalanche practitioners, guides, patrollers, and advanced backcountry travelers. This six-day course will build on concepts introduced in the Level 2 course (prerequisite) and will provide participants with the advanced skills required to effectively make decisions and manage hazards in avalanche terrain. Approximately half the course is classroom based and the other half is field based.
