WFR Re-Certification Course
The High Mountain Institute and Wilderness Medicine Institute (WMI) of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) are co-sponsors of this course. The WMI of NOLS Wilderness First Responder (WFR) training program is a nationally recognized program that trains participants to respond to emergencies in remote settings. This 3-day scenario based course is designed as a review and practice of evacuation and decision making guidelines. It also provides wilderness medicine practitioners with current updates in the wilderness medicine field. It may be used to re-certify current Wilderness First Responder and Wilderness EMT (wilderness portion only) certifications for the following organizations: WMI, NOLS, SOLO, and WMA. Includes CPR.
