Apply to the Summer Term

When are applications due?

Applications for Summer Term 2012 are due on February 15, 2012.  After this date we will accept applications on a rolling admissions basis to fill any remaining spaces.

What do I need to include?

A complete application will include the following:

  • Application for admission
  • Four personal essays (questions on second page of application form)
  • A copy of an essay written for your English or History class (It should be graded with comments.)
  • A copy of your transcript
  • 2 sealed advisor/teacher recommendations
  • A recent photograph of you
  • Application fee of $35, payable to the High Mountain Institute (non-refundable)

When will I hear if I am accepted?

Students who submitted their application by February 15 will be notified in mid March. Students who submit their applications after that date will be notified on a rolling basis.
