After completing the 10-mile Fun Run, many HMI alumni request running plans to help them train for future goals, or just to help them stay active. One of our math teachers, MCMcGovern, has come up with a variety of plans to help with this! You can start any of the training plans (below) at any time. For example, if you are already running a significant amount, you might start at week 4 or 5 instead of week 1. The plans are designed for beginner runners but can be adapted. Feel free to adjust them as necessary by adding cross-training and core exercises. MC has also included HMI Semester 34’s AMX schedule so you can follow along as they train for the Fun Run in May!
