Graduate Credit

Prescott College

The partnership between HMI and Prescott College (AZ) allows apprentices to obtain a semester-worth of graduate credits that can be applied towards Prescott’s Master of Arts Program (MAP). Apprentices design a program that meets their personal and professional goals while living in the community of their choice and pursuing their field of interest. Apprentices may choose from the following areas of study: Adventure Education, Education, Environmental Studies, and Humanities.

After being accepted into the Apprentice Program applicants may choose to have their High Mountain Institute experience count towards one semester of a Master of Arts degree from Prescott College for an additional cost.  Apprentices will need to complete the Prescott application, be accepted, attend colloquia in Prescott, AZ, and complete the requirements they set forth for their program of study.
